Our client is a well renowned shipping company who is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in Singapore. This is a fantastic opportunity to join this established and supportive team.
Working closely with other departments, you will be responsible for full set accounts (AR, AP & GL) and other responsibilities include:-
- Processing invoices, payment requests and monitoring receipts
- Monthly / quarterly / year-end closing of accounts and bank reconciliations
- Settlement / follow-up of outstanding amounts
- Assistance with cashflow monitoring and reporting
- Preparation of audit schedules and liaison with external auditors
- Maintaining documentation and filing of accounting records
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have at least three years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a ship owner / operator. An accounting or finance diploma / degree is also required, along with strong IT / accounting software skills.
In addition to being a team player, you will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be proactive and able to multitask, with high attention to detail.
