Our client is currently looking for a Technical Superintendent to join their team in Singapore.
In this role, you will be in charge of the technical and procurement aspects for a fleet of
domestic and foreign going oil tankers, ensuring safe operations, regulatory compliance and resource
efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, providing supervision and mentorship to team of Superintendents and Assistant
superintendents and procurement personnel. developing
maintenance strategies, managing budgets and procurement, ensuring compliance, carrying out ship inspections, attending shipboard meetings and providing
technical support. The role focuses on optimizing fleet performance, reducing downtime, and upholding
safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Marine Engineering.
- Seagoing experience up to 2nd Engineer preferably with tankers
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar position
- Demonstrated capability in difficult negotiation
- Proficient in MS Office
