This is a rare opportunity to join a first-class organisation in a newly created role as Tanker Analyst, where you will be directly responsible for assisting the commercial team to define strategies and identify business opportunities across a number of business units within the tanker sector. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Market forecasting, near term and long term to support strategic decision making activities
- Data analysis, input & modelling
- Content writing
- Preparing presentations and developing relevant reports to support business opportunities
- Dealing promptly with daily enquires and requests
To be considered for the position you must have the following:
- Previous 3-4 years' experience working within a research or analyst position within the oil or tanker markets
- Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong report writing skills
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and work within in fast paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong communication skills, able to demonstrate teamwork approach
