We are looking for a Project Research Officer with recent seafaring experience to carry out interviews with seafarers on the impact of evolving maritime technology.
This role will be a six month contract and requires a large amount of international travel to carry out interviews and workshops and requires a broad set of skills and experience including:-
- communication, including social media, podcasts, forums, etc
- relationship building
- running workshops
- carrying out research
- strong listening skills, and
- the ability to work independently.
The successful candidate will be open-minded, collaborative and human-centred, who is able to prioritise their workload. Applicants must hold a degree and experience of a range of cargoes and vessel types. Fluency in English is required and any additional languages are an added benefit.
