Our client is currently looking for a Technical Superintendent to join their team in Ghana.
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical and procurement aspects for a fleet of oil tankers, ensuring safe operations, regulatory compliance and resource efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, developing maintenance strategies, managing budgets and procurement, carrying out ship inspections, attending shipboard meetings and providing technical support. The role focuses on optimising fleet performance, reducing downtime and upholding safety and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- seagoing experience as Chief Engineer on tankers
- minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position
- proficient in trouble shooting and resolving technical difficulties
- proficient in MS Office
