This leading organisation is looking for Assistant / Manager, Fleet Management to join their Vessel Management team in Singapore. In this role your primary responsibilities will include:
- Act as main contact person for ship management partner
- Ensure regulatory compliance of vessels
- Conduct periodical vessel condition reviews and audits and propose remedial actions where necessary to improve vessels' condition
- Conduct Periodical Fuel Oil Consumption (FOC) performance review and submit reports and recommendations
- Lead and conduct OPEX evaluations
- Evaluate and approve Unbudgeted items
- Perform CAPEX evaluations
- Maintain and update Policies (Energy Saving Standard, Dry-Dock Policy, Maintenance Policy, etc)
- Engage in dock selection process
- Support or lead other projects as assigned
To be suitable for this role you will have a Degree/Diploma in Maritime Studies or relevant discipline with 4-6 years' experience in the ship owner environment. Seagoing experience is mandatory up to Deck Navigation Officer preferred. Knowledge of the ship management contracts and charter parties will be advantageous. You should possess strong communication and negotiation skills, meticulous, responsible, organized and a good team player.
