We are exclusively working with a leading tanker owner to secure an experienced individual to join their London team, in a role focusing on post fixture activities.

You will be involved in the following:

• Calculation and collection of freight and hire
• Calculation, submission, negotiation of claims, especially demurrage claims
• Maintaining close co-operation with tanker chartering, operations and legal departments
• Weekly / monthly reporting on claim performance

To be a suitable candidate, you must have proven experience in dealing with freight and demurrage claims, and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Priority will be given to those located in London or within commutable distance and all candidates must have existing work entitlement for the UK.
