This leading organisation is looking for an experienced Vessel Scheduler to join their Vessel Management team in Singapore.

In this role your primary responsibilities will include:

• monitoring vessel schedules to ensure all is as planned or review any changes
• managing service and vessel schedules and updating contingencies planned in advance
• carrying out research and analysis to ensure smooth and safe operations of vessels
• managing vessel bunker consumption to ensure all is on target
• assisting with slot cost settlement
• gathering port and berth information (conditions, charges, etc)
• coordinating and negotiating with partners to meet internal requirements
• coordinating with internal departments (Trade, Marketing, Equipment, Stowage, Regional Operations, etc).

To be suitable for this role you will have a degree or diploma in transportation and logistics (or equivalent), and at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.  You will possess strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as organisational abilities.
