Job Description
We are performing the search for a Naval Architect to work in an advisory business.

In advisory, you will deal with a huge variety of projects, people and situations, so we need someone who is truly adaptable.

The focus is the marine aspects of floating wind, offshore structures, terminals, re-gas, FLNG & FPSO, but can cover anything in the space where marine meets energy.

You could be dealing with a bank/investor, then signing off a design, then looking at options for reducing
emissions, then advising on terminal operations, and the list goes on...

The nature of the role requires broad Naval Architecture knowledge and experience, so ideally you will be comfortable with stability, hydrodynamics, motions, moorings, floating offshore structures etc, rather than a specialist on one area. With experience gained on the project types mentioned above.

You will also need to be a confident communicator, who is able to explain technical matters to non-technical and commercially minded people.

The company has a great culture built upon trust and flexibility, and you will not be expected to travel to the office daily.

It is not considered a remote role though, you will need to be based within a reasonably convenient commute, for easy access to meetings as required. Greater London or the M3 corridor would be ideal locations.

Applicants must hold the existing right to live and work in the UK.
