Job Description
Due to succession planning, an excellent opportunity has arisen as for a Deputy Director with this renowned Authority, working from the London office.   
With experience at representing national or international maritime bodies, you will represent the Authority at IMO meetings, prepare submissions and other briefing papers, deliver presentations on technical and policy matters at industry conferences, meetings, forums, etc and provide support to colleagues in the development of technical policies.
With seagoing experience of at least three years as Master or Chief Engineer, you will have experience ashore in a similar role and have excellent presentation and report writing skills, supported by a thorough understanding of international maritime legislation, strong cross-cultural and interpersonal skills and be self-motivated. 
You must also have existing work entitlement for the UK, and preference will be given to candidates already living within commuting distance of London.
